Video Hook LLC ("VideoHook," "we," "us") operates videohook.co. This policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect what you type into it: your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), the service you are interested in, a project budget range (optional), and your message. We collect this for one reason - so we can respond to your inquiry and scope your project.
How we store and use it
Form submissions are stored in this website's database, hosted by Hostinger. We send a notification to oleg@videohook.co and a receipt to the email address you provide. Saving the inquiry and sending email are separate steps; email delivery can be delayed. We use your information to reply to you, prepare quotes, and manage our client work. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not use it for advertising lists. We share it only if a law or court order requires us to, or with service providers (such as our hosting company) that are needed to run this website.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party aggregate measurement to understand which pages are viewed and whether visitors open a portfolio video, click our phone or email links, or successfully send an inquiry. We store only daily totals by page and action for 90 days, not individual visitor histories. These measurements do not use analytics cookies and do not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, referring pages, or inquiry details. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these measurements. Counts are events, not unique people. WordPress may use necessary cookies for logged-in administration. We do not run advertising trackers.
Embedded videos
Portfolio thumbnails are loaded from YouTube image servers. Dedicated project pages load a YouTube privacy-enhanced player when the page opens; other portfolio videos load their player when selected. These requests disclose connection information, such as your IP address, to Google before or during playback. Playing a video may involve further collection under Google’s privacy policy. We do not control those providers’ collection. Fonts are served from this website. Our own decorative background video is hosted with the website.
Security and hosting logs
Our contact form uses short-lived, keyed hashes of an IP address and email address to limit abuse. These security counters expire after one hour and are separate from inquiry records and aggregate measurement. Our hosting provider may keep ordinary server and security logs to operate and protect the website; these are not part of our aggregate analytics.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as they are useful for responding to you and running our business, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email oleg@videohook.co and we will take care of it.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
